Absolute or relative grading?

KL University’s published academic framework allows either absolute or relative grading. Relative grading is used only when the course section meets the university threshold and the chosen method is specified in the course handout. The grade-point mapping stays O=10, A+=9, A=8, B+=7, B=6, C=5, P=4 and F=0.

Checked against KL University 2023-24 academic handbook and KL academic regulations.

The credit-weighted SGPA/CGPA method and published conversion are supported across KLEF programmes that use the cited framework. Relative grading and internal assessment components can vary by course, programme and handbook, so the weighted-marks tool remains editable.
