Editorial policy
How we publish university rules
GradeCalculator.in is maintained by the GradeCalculator.in editorial team as an independent reference site.
Source first
We prefer official regulations, handbooks, Controller of Examinations notices, academic certificates and university programme pages. Each university record links to its primary source and lists the version, clause or page, scope and verification date.
Scope before formula
A university can have different rules for a programme, campus, college type or admission year. We describe the supported scope and list exclusions. We do not present a generic formula as an official university rule when the source does not support it.
Calculation checks
Shared arithmetic is kept in tested functions. Calculator pages use the university data record for grade points, credit weighting, conversions and target rounding. Inputs stay in the browser. Results are estimates unless the university confirms them.
Review and updates
The public record shows when its source was last checked and keeps a short revision history. When a new official document changes a rule, we update the record, source locator and related calculator text together.
Independence and attribution
GradeCalculator.in has no affiliation with the universities listed on the site. University names, marksheets, logos and source documents remain subject to their owners’ terms. We link to the official source rather than presenting it as our own work.
