The calculators follow the published rule for the university and regulation shown on each page.
From source to calculator
We record the grade points, credit weighting, exclusions, assessment components, conversion rule and rounding method in a university configuration. The interactive page uses that configuration rather than a generic percentage shortcut.
Where a rule differs by admission year, programme or campus, the page states the supported scope and keeps the alternatives separate. Editable marks and weight rows are intentional because course handbooks can set different internal components.
What the result means
GPA and CGPA results are arithmetic estimates from the values you enter. A university may calculate from course-level records, apply an exemption rule or retain more precision than the displayed semester result. Small differences are possible when you reconstruct a cumulative result from rounded semester values.
No calculation is sent to this site. Your entries stay in the browser, but you should still use the university's current regulation for an official decision.
